Saving the Best for Last

I’ll admit it. When asked to review this book my first thought was, “Oh great, another self-help book.” I love it when I’m wrong. While Saving the Best for Last is a self-help book, this book surpasses all expectations, and a journey I’m grateful I didn’t miss.
The writing is wonderfully seasoned, thoughtful, caring, and promises the reader a connection, or better said, a reconnection…to themselves.
Chapter after chapter the authors tackle midlife topics
There is so much more to life than the little things we fuss and worry over, and after reading this book, this student has learned to snap back and stop looking at life through a microscope, and start putting more effort into celebrating this second season of midlife. There are many ways to describe the chapters in this book, but what you’ll take away, I guarantee it; will be an enlightening path of discovery…and recovery.
