EllynAnne does a remarkable job of sharing all there is to know and appreciate about the aprons of yesteryear. She includes stories about the women who wore them and some of their mouthwatering recipes. You\’re going to wish you could feast at their tables.

The book is beautifully illustrated with aprons that will take you back to the everyday and holidays of the 50s, 60s and 70s. You\’ll feel appreciation for the women in your past who adorned them and will be surprised by all the nostalgic images that come to surface. I got carried away with cherished memories while reminiscing about Mom and my aunts who donned aprons for hours at a time.

This book is a perfect gift for Boomers who love to cook, the women who waited on us as children, and younger generations to learn what life was about in the kitchen before their time.
