Since I\’ve been self-employed for about 20 years now, I\’ve apparently missed out on the challenges Baby Boomer women are facing in the employment world. When I voluntarily left the workplace for my own greener pastures, work was easy to find. Apparently that\’s not the case these days.
This book uses stories and examples from several women to provide encouragement for Boomer women who are finding themselves off the employment grid and not getting the respect they deserve.
Georgian Lussier knows her topic. She\’s lived it. And that\’s why she\’s now a thought leader on workplace issues – with special interest in raising awareness of employment issues for 55+ women.
The author of two e-books on developing talent, she draws on thirty-five years of experience. Her first career chapter included human resource and management positions within two Fortune 100 insurance companies. Since 1994 she has provided independent consulting services to over fifty companies in diverse industries. From 2008 to 2010 she designed and implemented innovative programs within two non-profit organizations.
