The Frustrations of Our Long, Cold, Winter Can\’t Hold Out Much Longer: Not When Our Thrifty Diva Cheerily Reminds Us That “Garage Sale Season is Coming…”
By Barb Tobias NABBW’s Thrifting AssociateMy favorite time of year is just around the corner. Yes, that\’s right, Garage Sale Season! Do you know that that means? It\’s time to start purging your home and preparing for the onslaught of sales around the city.
The snow is on the ground and the chill has set in. What better reason to begin to purge those unwanted items from your home.
Think of it, purge your home, hold a successful garage sale and use the proceeds to redecorate, or revive a single room or spruce up your entire home!
It\’s been a long winter here in the mountains of Evergreen, Colorado.
In case you hadn\’t heard, I had shoulder surgery in late December and I am currently healing and seeing my physical therapist twice weekly.
I\’m stressing to her that my shoulder needs to be in working order so I can shop … when my favorite season arrives. I must be able to haul those precious finds home with me!
Happy Shopping,
Barb
